One year has passed since the loss of our brother (03/10/23), and my heart still feels the pain of that moment ...
I'm so glad you're at peace with Mama, Poppa, and Daddy.
I said the following words from my heart then, and I will share them again today.

*To my big brother, Randy ... If my heart could speak out, I would fill up a book about you and all the love you showed me, Reuben, and Rugina throughout our lives growing up.
You were our leader when Mom and Dad were working, and you continued to guide us into our adult lives, sometimes to the point of bullying and irritating us, but always, always loving us.
We affectionately referred to you as "Father Marshall" for always wanting us to be so perfect.

Military life took you away from us and around the world to a different way of life but you continued to be the man that we appreciated, loved, and respected ... and you will forever be in my heart as "Randy, Bubba, and Father Marshall" ... I can´t express the empty hole in my heart from losing you... but I am so proud to have always been your baby sister, filled with pride as you graduated from Marine boot camp, married, became a father and grandfather, and later, the strength only you could endure through the many surgeries that took parts of you away, from your feet up. :(

You continue to teach me, even now, as I hold you in my heart and know that you are finally at peace and out of pain.

You can now run strong again or just sit and play your guitar and sing some beautiful harmony with our daddy, uncles and cousins. I can close my eyes, see y´all´s smiles, and hear the heavenly music.
Although I know you are safe in God´s arms with our loving parents, I will hold you close in my heart until we meet again.
I will love you always, Bubba.
