Recently had the opportunity to see my brother from another mother tie the knot. 🤗 For once it was nice to be a guest, but of course I couldn't resist captures of the gorgeous couple. It was absolutely a beautiful day and I sooo wish I could've snapped more BUT my hubby made me take a seat as he says I was "doing too much." 🙄

My brother introduced this young man into our family when they were in the 3rd grade (28 years ago for context). How amazing it has been to see him grow into the man he is today.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Foster! 🥂 Wishing infinite years of love, laughter, togetherness and bliss.

How absolutely STUNNING, yet classic is this gown?!?! From the nuptials (with the floor length skirt) to dancing (interchangeable to tea length)...this gown is all that you need for your day of 'I Dos'!

The off-the-shoulder design, fitted bodice, and full, tea-length tulle skirt are reminiscent of the classic "new look" silhouette that was popularized by designers like Christian Dior in the late 1940s and 1950s. Atara is a combination of bold, vibrant patterns and prints with a focus on contemporary yet culturally inspired designs. The dresses are composed of bright colors, intricate geometric shapes, and patterns with African influences.

Each piece blends traditional elements with modern silhouettes, including asymmetrical cuts, layered fabrics, and draped styles. The designs incorporate bright colors, paired with the unique detailing of mixed patterns and textures.

I always, ALWAYS aim to be intentional with events. What can a woman gain from their attendance? What connections can be made with others? How does she feel when she arrived vs when she left?

I loved our affirmation activity. Writing an anonymous affirmation and sealing it in an envelope. Selecting a random sealed envelope of your choice (not your own of course). Reading it to yourself in the mirror, then sharing it aloud with others and expressing how those words make you feel.

Ultimately, if we can so easily uplift others in writing (anonymously), we can certainly do so face to face, in passing, in friendships. Additionally, when others speak unto you, it is then your responsibility to take a look in the mirror...see, believe and feel what others on the outside reveal.
