The EKU Center for Economic Education is a place for Kentucky teachers to find resources and training to integrate economics, personal finance, and entrepreneurship into their classes.
This week marks the 49th anniversary of the announcement of the creation of the EKU Center for Economic Education! We are entering our 50th year feeling strong as we navigate change and continue promoting economic education and financial literacy in the Commonwealth. Thank you to the Kentucky Financial Empowerment Commission, Central Bank experts, student leaders, and so many others who contributed to increasing financial literacy of our students as we celebrated National Financial Literacy Month!

Happy National Financial Literacy Month! We are celebrating here at College of Business - EKU and inviting students from across campus to join us! Submit a TikTok sharing your best financial advice to college students and tag by noon on April 5. We will start promoting the TikToks, and prize winners will be announced at our Financial Literacy Fair on April 23, 4-6 pm. Y'all come! Free event t-shirts, food truck vouchers, financial literacy games, lots of fun to be had!

Kentucky teachers of personal finance in grades 6-12, NKU Center for Economic Education is hosting a statewide Personal Finance Challenge! Your students can compete in an online competition during Feb. 19-March 22, and winning teams will compete in person at NKU on April 5. National finals will be held at the Cleveland Federal Reserve Bank on May 19-20. Check out all of the details using the QR code on the flyer. DM us any questions!
