Richmond Industrial Fire Community Response & Resources
As you probably know, the evacuation order has been lifted and people have begun cleaning and moving back into their homes. However, many people still have questions about what is safe and how to safely return home. We have the following resources:
1. An accessible information sheet on how to properly clean your home after smoke/fume exposure: Cleaning Your Home After Smoke Exposure (Info Doc) - https://bit.ly/3ogazUm
2. Community Response Volunteer Form. We need people with varied skills, so there is a job for everyone, even if you don't live in the area: https://form.jotform.com/231075647515154
3. Community Needs Assessment Survey. We want to know the various ways folks have been impacted and what community supports are the most needed. Please fill out and share. https://form.jotform.com/231075558706157
4. Community Relief GoFundMe Fundraiser: https://gofund.me/31b85184
If you are unsure how to clean your home after exposure to the smoke and fumes from the Richmond Industrial Fire, we have created a guide!
Mutual Aid Request:
Many people who have been affected by the Richmond Industrial fire do not have access to adequate resources (financial, physical, emotional, etc) to begin the recovery process, so we have started a mutual aid fundraiser. Please donate and/or share! Every bit helps.
