This past Friday, we hosted Superior Boiler employees and their families for Family Night at The Alley! Welcome to another featuring an in-progress boiler! To ensure the strength of our watertube boilers, we weld refractory anchors to the exterior of the steam drum, ensuring a robust and durable refractory shield. This critical step, required to meet ASME code, helps create a high-quality, long-lasting boiler you can rely on.

At Superior Boiler, we utilize our custom designed post-weld heat treat oven to enhance weld durability and reduce residual stress during your boiler operations, guaranteeing optimal performance. This meticulous process ensures your boiler is reliable, long-lasting, and built to withstand the toughest conditions. Our burner and controls neutrality lets you choose the best burner for your facility's needs, enhancing cost-effectiveness and maintenance ease. If the burner ever needs replaced, customers can choose any compatible model to fit their application.

We're excited to announce our next employee spotlight: Josh Knopp! Josh is a Superior Problem Solver in our maintenance department. He is often running around, making sure to keep everything in top shape to keep operations running as smoothly as possible and making sure our facilities are in top shape. Josh is always quick to lend a hand, starting every project with a problem solver mindset and a can-do attitude. Josh's nominator recalled a specific story of teamwork of Josh and another maintenance team member Roy Fields (a previously highlighted employee spotlight). Working together, they were able to safely complete a three-day job in one day. They removed the complete rear axle assembly on the 18,000 lb Hyster Forklift. Not only did this save the company downtime, it also prevented the need for a rental. Josh, thank you for being putting your Superior Problem Solver cap on daily and being a great part of our team!
