Celebrating 30 Years with a Piece of History!

To commemorate our 30th anniversary, we’ve crafted a special edition bandana that’s rich with local history. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how this unique design came to life:

STEP ONE: Research
We dove into antique maps from VCU Collections, uncovering treasures that date back over 100 years! After exploring, we selected two sections from the 1919 Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps.

STEP TWO: Merge & Digitize
We seamlessly merged the maps and transformed them into beautiful vector art to create the background.

STEP THREE: Add Filigree for Flair
Inspired by our research, we incorporated intricate historical filigree patterns, giving the design a timeless and authentic feel.

This bandana is more than just an accessory – it’s a tribute to our roots and 30 years of community!

Our team at Punch partnered with MBL to create a visually engaging and informative report that reflects their commitment to supporting small, women-owned, and minority-owned businesses. 📊💼 The MBL is dedicated to providing these businesses with the resources and support they need to thrive and be sustainable, and we aimed to capture that mission through impactful design.

Our layouts feature vibrant colors, dynamic graphics, and a clean, modern structure that enhances readability. Each page tells the story of MBL’s achievements and initiatives over the past year, highlighting the positive impact they’re making in our community.

VCU Department of Radiology looked to Punch to help them create their 2023 Impact Report. This report needed to highlight the department’s many accomplishments, advances, and specialties, four pillars of excellence, and work as a recruiting tool. The challenge for Punch was to take heavy data-driven content and bring it to life in a bright, informational, graphic book. The Punch team was able to tour the facility, meet the radiologist behind the numbers, and get to know their connections and family approach to medicine.

The Impact Report was exceptionally well received by the intended audiences and shared at alumni events and fundraising activities, as well as with leadership, faculty, and recruiters.
