Opera chorus members must be able to attend all rehearsals to which they are called. General rehearsal times are listed below and a preliminary rehearsal schedule will be announced by February 2024. Rehearsals take place in the Jackson-metro area and/or Natchez, MS. Chorus members must be able to:
* Attend weekly opera chorus rehearsals on Thursdays from 7:30p - 9:30pm and on selected Saturdays from March 7 - April 1, 2024 (Exact schedule TBA)
* Attend company music, staging, and dress rehearsals as called (usually in the evenings or on weekends) from April 1 - April 26, 2024
* Be available for all tech, dress rehearsals, and performances in Jackson from April 22-26, 2024 and in Natchez from April 29 - May 4, 2024
* Live within reasonable driving distance of Jackson, MS
* Prepare their parts to the best of their ability in advance and be as memorized as possible by the first chorus rehearsal (March 7th)
***To the best of our ability, we are committed to working with local college and university music departments to create a rehearsal schedule that accommodates local performers who would like to participate.
