Travell first graders were treated to Story Time with the Tiger! 🐯

Travell students got to learn from motivational speaker and Ridgewood icon Jim Stroker, who spoke about how our reactions to life’s challenges determine our destiny. They loved hearing his amazing message about overcoming adversity and believing in yourself!

Fourth and final Tiger Walk! Thank you to everyone who came out early to walk to school with us!

The Travell 5th graders had an amazing trip to Storm King Art Center today! What a beautiful day to learn about art and see massive outdoor sculptures in the Hudson Valley!

Kicking off Walk to School Month with our first Tiger Walk! Travell students joined Principal Ross and the Travell Tiger on their way to school this morning. Stay tuned for next week’s route and live Tiger tracking!

The Travell HSA Membership Dues are a small donation we request from ALL families to help fund enrichment programs that enhance the educational experience of all Travell students. These programs include assemblies, author visits, community building events, Science Fair, International Expo, and more!

*ANNUAL DUES ARE $40 PER FAMILY and can be paid through Community Pass (link and instructions below).

Payment of annual dues also grants you access to the Directory where you can find your friends’ and classmates’ contact information. This will be live in early fall once the District has uploaded the information from Skyward.

Reminder - TONIGHT - 5th Grade to 6th Grade BF Parent Orientation Meeting:
There will be a meeting tonight Monday, May 13th at 7pm for Parents of current 5th Graders in the BF Auditorium. The meeting will acquaint parents with the 6th grade curriculum, the BF house structure, student activities and other middle school matters of interest. There will be a question and answer session after a brief presentation. This meeting is just for parents; students will have their own orientation in June as well as open houses in mid/late August.

Donation drop off starts this week. Please read flyer for details on which books are being accepted and shopping times.

❗️REMINDER: Students must be accompanied by a parent to shop the Swap on June 12 / 13.
