Finishing my last couple of weeks with some of my students before my move to Indiana and starting up a new studio probably in the fall! I sure am going to miss my kids here! My hearts already beginninng to feel empty! Wishing them all the best of luck with their new teachers! They're all such awesome students I'm sure they'll do great!

Said goodbye to fellow piano teachers today in El Paso Texas EPMTA meeting! Will miss you all. I have so enjoyed my time with you the past year & learned so much from you all. Thank you for sharing your expertise with me!

I did send all my students/parents e-mail re: my upcoming move. I will be teaching thru the end of March for those who want to remain with me. We will be moving on April 14th as far as I know now. The closing on our house in Indiana is set for March 30th but as you know sometimes things take longer. Yes, I will miss you all dearly!

March Begins! No recitals/competitions until end of month--Sat. Mar 31 is the Baroque Competition @ UTEP! Please work on your pieces very hard while I'm gone-must be memorized. Students competing are Asher, Ashleigh & Milly Min and Alexis Reyes! They will be competing against other students in their same age group playing the same Baroque piece.

Enjoyed a wonderful Valentines Recital today @ Desert Springs. Had a couple of kids sick and others with other obligations but still had 25 perform. Pictures taken by my friend/photographer Ms. Sherrie will be up soon. Great job students!

We had a lovely Chamizal Recital this last Sunday with 6 of our students performing. It was a beautiful hall with an awesome piano & sound. Super job Milly, Ashleigh, Asher, Lindsay, Bianca & Briana. You made me proud!

Chamizal Recital this Sun. Our time is 2:30 p.m. recital: Students performing/ Asher, Ashleigh & Milly Min/ Briana & Bianca Gilyard & Miss Lindsay Poe. Your student should have given you an information sheet. Any ? please e-mail or call me ...otherwise I'll see you there. I know you'll all do an awesome job! Song has to be memorized...but you can bring it with you to look over beforehand if you need. Thanks!

Chamizal Recital coming up this next Sun. Feb 12th for students: Milly, Ashleigh & Asher Min/Briana & Biance Gilyard and Lindsay Poe. We still haven't been assigned the specific recital time but probably either 2:30 or 3:30 p.m. recital. I'll let you know when I get the final word. Students will get their paperwork for the Chamizal at this weeks lesson. This ia a formal, dress up recital!

State Theory Test this Sat 1:30 p.m. for Asher, Ashleigh & Milly Min. Please be there a little early for parking and to find your test grade room. Mom should already have your paperwork. Bring pencils/clipoards & your map is your ticket to get in. Thanks!
