Christmas came a little early! Received some new drywall tools.

I'm sitting in McDonald's parking lot eating brunch (don't judge me, their breakfast burritos are awesome), and this van pulls in.
When the guy got out and was walking in, I rolled down my window and yelled over to him "Awesome van!"

He replied "Thank you, we love it."

Then I've got my face down in my food, not paying attention, and I hear a horn, and I look over and he pulled up next to me, and then he hands me a pack of Scooby Snacks. 🤗

Golf ball sized hail. At the shop, North of River Falls at 4:24 pm.

These are amazing! I use them driving my old skid steer, which is quite loud, and these block out all the noise, and yet I can hear my audio through them, including if someone is taking to me. Can't recommend them enough! you crushed it with this product!

Finally here!!

Job we did at ACE Cash Express in St. Paul. Counters had to be lowered. Sounds easy until you factor in 1.5" thick bullet-proof plexiglass, and the fact that the front of the cabinets had plate-steel under the laminate.

We would like to welcome Matt, he started full time this week and is a welcome addition.

Now enough clowning around and let's get to work, lol.

Yesterday's job site was at the Renaissance Hotel and the Depot in downtown Minneapolis.

First pressure washing job of the year, back in May, just getting pics up now.

Top deck is on roof 5 stories up, then 2 lower decks, and a patio on the ground.

This is such an amazing house and they are such nice people.

This basement remodel is our latest project. I just hired Monty full time a couple of weeks ago, but he was a learning quickly and was a big part of this project.

I was very impressed with how quickly he was learning drywall techniques.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Brandt family and to all of Monty's loved ones and friends.

My ongoing project is a 4 bedroom house.

We can assemble that new playset for the kids.

Here's an Innovative method that allows you to paint or stain both sides of a door at one time.

Prime and paint the ends first, then screw on a spacer board that is thinner and shorter than the door, and a larger board that keeps wet door from contacting surfaces, and also provides a place to grip the unit for flipping and moving.

Also, if you have wood floors, it's a great time to check the felt pads that you have on the bottom of all your chair and table legs (you have them on there, right?)

They become worn down and can get grit and sand embedded in them after time, and then you may scratch that beautiful wood floor.

Clean them and add new pads if necessary.
