The weak use violence to silence the voices of their opponents, especially when the voice is what the people need and want to hear. The weak will be defeated. The weak I speak of are the politicians and sheep that follow them that spread lies about their opponents to cover their own.

In Sept 2023, I was involved in a self-defense incident in Riverside, CA., that resulted in me having to discharge my firearm at an individual. I was the victim of an armed robbery where two armed,masked men came into my friends business to rob them. I was completely unaware of my surroundings, something I talk about in all my classes. I tell students, “If you’re unaware of your surroundings, you’re completely unprepared for an attack.” That’s exactly the position I found myself in while working, head down, on a laptop in the business. Both armed men had their guns pointed at me; the person to my left positioned his gun less than 2” from my left eye with his finger buried so far into the trigger well that he could manipulate the mag release, while the guy to my right positioned his about a foot away from my chest, finger also on the trigger.

Immediately, my heart raced to about 160bpm knowing I could die at any moment. With no possibility to defeat them both at that moment, I thought I was about to die. The thoughts that raced through my head were chilling. I had no way out so I resigned to dying right there and then. My heart rate decreased to about 60bpm and a sense of calm came over me as I made my peace with God.

In all my years of military, law enforcement, and government contracting, I have never been so close to death’s door than at this very moment. It’s a feeling I hope I never experience again.

Thankfully God shined his light on me and gave me a split-second opportunity to respond. I was able to spring from a seated position while the two diverted their attention elsewhere, draw my firearm, and discharge two rounds, striking one of the robbers before he could shoot and kill me or anyone else.

What saved my life? The fact that I train vigorously and often as a CCW Instructor. I waited my turn, a turn I thought I’d never get, but one I prayed so hard for. My other saving grace was my P365 with the grip module, the best, most ergonomically correct, grip module made for that gun.

As soon as my hand made contact with the firearm, I knew I was going to live to see another day.

What a crazy last week I’ve had. I went from teaching a CCW Prep Course last Wednesday afternoon to getting into a use-of-force shooting later that evening to being asked by dear friends to provide executive protection for Former VP Mike Pence and actor Clint Howard at a their home less than a week later.

Life can really throw you for a loop. I went from defending myself against someone that wanted me dead to protecting someone I’m not a fan of. It’s a crazy life. I’m happy to be on the side of the living still replaying the events in my head wondering WTF! I’m proud of what I do to ensure that others may live.

All that really matters is that I am still here to provide a level of training that I know works. When put to the test, training and education paid off.

Like I say in my classes, “You must have the defensive mindset to use lethal force in a self-defense encounter.”

I’ve said it time and time again. Merely having a permit in your wallet and a gun on your hip will NOT save your life. Practicing often and dynamically, will help prepare you for that unwanted time in your life where you need to use a firearm to defend yourself or others.

Practice often, be aware of your surroundings, and pray to God that he gives you the strength and a clear mind to act when the opportunity to defend yourself presents itself.

In light of the tragic shooting at Cook's Corner in Orange County last night, we implore everyone interested in obtaining your Concealed Carry Permit, to APPLY NOW. Don't delay! DO IT NOW!

Some of you may think this post is just a "money grab" by a company profiting off this shooting. I assure you that's not the case. So why am I posting this? Gov New$om and the California State DOJ will use this tragic event as a way to restrict law abiding citizens from exercising their right. I can tell you that the Governor's office, right now, is working on a method to prevent you from obtaining your CCW. But how can he do that you may ask? It's against the law for the Governor to infringe on the Second Amendment. Gov New$om has violated Federal law constantly. He's known for violating laws, policies, and mandates, that he himself has put into place. He's going to do it again. Mark my words.

The Supreme Court ruling on Jun 24, 2022 made all 50 states "Shall Issue", meaning if you apply for a CCW, the law enforcement agency you applied with, MUST issue a CCW provided you pass a comprehensive background check and a shooting qualification course. Our great Sheriff, Sheriff Chad Bianco, does not take this lightly. He's meticulous and expects those approved to carry concealed, to remain responsible and act according to the law. Deviate from that and you will lose your right to carry and possible, possess fi****ms. Many states DO NOT want to abide by the law and are putting illegal processes in the way of them following the law.

Gov New$om and the California DOJ, led by AG RobBonta, WILL devise ways to prohibit, restrict, and deny you from obtaining your permit, purchase and possess fi****ms, and exercise your right to bear them. Collectively, they will VIOLATE the law all in the name of gun control.

Unfortunately, 2 recent shootings occurred in the safest city in the entire nation, Irvine. Both involved otherwise responsible gun owners with CCWs or LEOSA authorization, who committed murder, tarnishing reputations of millions of law-abiding citizens. Don't think for a moment that Gov New$om, AG RobBonta, and the CA DOJ will quickly move to prevent from exercising our rights.

But how could they do that? They'll get sued! They cannot violate the law. REALLY?? They do it ALL THE TIME! The Supreme Court ruled that abortion is illegal. Gov New$om violated the law and made California an "abortion sanctuary state". 68% of California residents voted on the death penalty. Governor Newsom disregarded his constituents and REFUSED to bring back the death penalty. The Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional for the President to forgive student loans. What did he do? He took it upon himself to bypass the supreme court ruling to forgive student loans. These two continue to VIOLATE the law if it serves them. They have a total disregard for the LAW, are rogue tyrants, and MUST be removed.

Crime is on the rise in Riverside County. That does not mean the Sheriff’s Department is not doing its job. They’re doing the best they can with what they have. We have one of the best Sheriffs in the nation if not the best! The problem is that we have politicians in this state that do not care you, the law-abiding citizens who live and work in this state. They’re more interested in getting votes by allowing millions of illegal aliens into this country. Without those immigrants, they wouldn’t be able to get the votes they need to remain in power.

My prediction is that it’s going to get worse, drastically worse, in the next few months. Crime is going to skyrocket. I predict bad things on all levels.
