As we continue honoring Hispanic Heritage Month, we want to celebrate two awesome sister mathematicians, adjunct professors, and CBU Alumni: The Cano sisters! The Cano sisters are a big part of our Mathematical Sciences legacy. Not only are they alumni, they also worked for various years in the tutoring center.

Alondra Cano (2nd pic) is a also a CBU alumni from the Applied Mathematics Master’s program and is currently working as an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics teaching various courses. She enjoys 70s and 80s music, dancing, and cooking. She loves going to Disney!

Carolina Cano (third pic) is a grad student in the Master-Credential program & is an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics. She loves going to amusement parks, dancing, & visiting her family in Guanajuato, Mexico (as well as eating all the food there)!
