When all of your Family Promise friends are off at school and daycare you have to make do with stuffed friends. Poor Promise has the back to school blues. 😔

We are so grateful to Riverside Elks Lodge #643 for the generous donation of $5000. Together, as a community, we are ending homelessness, one family at a time.

Thanks to our amazing volunteers our kiddos had a blast at book buddies. Investing in our kiddo’s love of reading is another way we work to mitigate trauma in our littlest guests.

Every mother hopes that her children will have a good life. When a family is facing homelessness, a parent’s challenges are greater than anything we can imagine. No matter the challenge, we support them.

When illness forced Katie* to take time away from her job, she lost her only source of income. Before long, she and her young son had to give up their home and began living out of their car.

Then she found Family Promise.

Family Promise worked with Katie to make sure she and her son had a place to live and supported her until she finally returned to work.

Moms like Katie work hard to provide for their families. And we're so proud to support them.

Have you met Promise, the newest member of our team? Promise helps our guests (kiddos and grownups alike) feel welcomed and loved even on the most challenging days. She also provides a sense of home with kisses, cuddles, and afternoon walks. Promise is one of many ways we help mitigate the trauma that our guests experience while figuring out their housing puzzle.
