A little flashback to last night. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us and the lovely ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc. at our loteria night. As well thanks for all the donations everyone has made so far and remember tomorrow we will be making valentines cards for the children of St Jude's. Come out and support!!! To all our friends and brothers, In case you haven't heard we are having our St. Jude's philanthropy week collaboration with Lambda Theta Alpha Sorority Inc. Today we will be selling nachos at the blue tents during the nooner. Come out and enjoy some tasty nachos while supporting a great cause. The brothers of Sigma Delta Alpha Fraternity, Inc at UCR and the ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc GammaZeta Chapter started off our St. Jude’s Awareness week with an informational night full of testimonies, statistics, and life-saving endeavors. We would like to thank our fellow highlanders who came out to support the cause. Couldn’t make it out tonight? Don’t worry, we got you covered. A little throwback to this Sunday when your UCR Sigmas faced the UCI Sigmas in the second game of the SoCal Sigma Bowl. The home team of Riverside took the 2-0 win. It was great getting together with our Irvine brothers for a fun and competitive game. Shout out to our brothers Jorge Lopez and Osvaldo Albarran for scoring for our chapter.

Today was a fun and busy day for the brothers of Sigma Delta Alpha.

First off, we would like to thank everyone who supported our "Sigmas Giving Back" initiative for the past few weeks. All donated goods will be dropped off at North High School this Saturday for the Teen to Teen Goodwill Donation Drive. We also had the honor of participating in Lambda Theta Alpha's "Pie an LTA" event! Special shout out to Latinic Societas Unitas, Lambda Theta Alpha and Lambda Theta Nu for your donations today!

Thanks to those that came to our fourth night of Rush Week and we would also like to thank Sigma Pi Alpha for an amazing collaboration rush night of pumpkin pie eating contest. Our master pie eater is Roy Gonzales.

Thanks to those that came to our second night of Rush Week at Buffalo Wild Wings. Tomorrow we are hosting a BBQ for our third night. We welcome all orgs and clubs to our event. If any interest need a ride make sure to contact a brother or feel free to meet us at the bell tower. We hope to see everyone there.

Thanks to those that came to our first day of Rush Week. This is only the beginning of the events we have lined up. We are having our second day of Rush at Buffalo Wild Wings so come on down tomorrow. Feel free to go to our table tomorrow if you have any questions or if you would like to hang out with the brothers. We will be set up from 9am-2pm by the bell tower.
