Happy Labor Day from LULAC Riverside! Today, we honor the hard work, dedication, and resilience of workers everywhere. Let's continue to stand together for justice, equality, and the rights of all workers. Enjoy the holiday safely and proudly! 💪

The 2024 LULAC National Convention at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas was a reminder that this organization is larger than just us. There's people fighting for the empowerment of our community across the nation. BE PART OF HISTORY.
Join us in driving meaningful change for the Latino community! Join our movement for change and share your voice!
This year's theme,
"Empowering the Next Generation," reflected our unwavering commitment to civil rights. Since 1929, LULAC has fought injustice and pioneered change, and this theme reflects our dedication to educating the leaders of tomorrow.
Every year, we come together to advocate for progress, recognizing the vital role of mentorship and inspiration in fostering future leaders. From advocating for fair labor conditions to establishing educational initiatives, LULAC has always sought to support Hispanic communities.
Let's continue our legacy of empowerment and make a difference together!
Pictured above are LULAC members from CA, representing our council were our delegates: Gilberto Esquivel, Yolanda Esquivel, Janet Bernabe, and Rocio Martinez!

April is Minority Health Month. Many communities have historically been underrepresented in health research, which means they’re not always included in the development of treatment and prevention strategies. By signing up for the All of Us Research Program, you could help health researchers make discoveries that include ALL of us.

Aid to Latino Families of Baltimore Bridge Tragedy

The LULAC Institute, Inc., is spearheading a fundraising effort, ensuring that 100% of your donations directly assist the families left to navigate an uncertain future. Most of the victims were the breadwinners of their families; others supported educational efforts in their home countries. These funds must be in the hands of the families left behind as quickly as possible. We are over halfway to our goal of $25,000, which means we can donate close to $2,000 to each family immediately. The money raised could help cover funeral costs and cost of living expenses such as rent, groceries, and utilities as they begin to navigate the unprecedented future.

Let’s continue to donate. Time is of the essence.

🌻 Everyone is welcome! Check us out, learn what we're about, and let us know how we can help you. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month, but this month was moved to tomorrow! ❤️

We’re building our scholarship fund to serve our region’s graduating High School seniors, Class of 2024.

Share our QR code above or visit our website, look for “Donate” tab.

LULAC National Education Service Centers (LNESC) will match up to 60% of the scholarship fund amount we raise before March!
So far we have $1,800, but our goal is to get $4,000 matched. Every little bit helps.

Every year we give out as many scholarships as possible to Riverside Unified, Alvord Unified and Jurupa Unified students; many of which qualify to go to college, but come from an economically disadvantaged background. We, as a community, have the power to make it easier for our students to pursue higher education.
