🕒 Since breaking ground in January 2023, the RCTC 71/91 Interchange Project has undergone a remarkable transformation and has been a testament to innovation, safety, and collaboration. This steadfast commitment to quality and safety has been the driving force behind the project's continued success. 🐾🏔️ Puma concolor, also known as the #mountainlion, is one of 146 native animal and plant species protected by the Multiple Species Habitat Conversation Plan (MSHCP). As the managing agency of the Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority, RCTC is helping implement the #MSHCP – one of the largest #conservation plans in the nation - to protect species like the mountain lion and 145 others in lands across western #RiversideCounty. 15/91 Express Lanes Connector Ribbon Cutting
RCTC was proud to have delivered the new 15/91 Express Lanes Connector in City of Corona - City Government last year. The new connector links the cities of Jurupa Valley, Eastvale, Norco, and Corona to the 91 Express Lanes and beyond. RCTC Becomes the Managing Agency of the RCA in 2021
3️⃣ Three years ago, RCTC became the managing agency of the Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority. In that time, so much has been accomplished to protect sensitive habitat and protect native species in western #RiversideCounty - including the acquisition of 1,120 acres for #conservation in 2023 alone! 🌳🌳

RCA and the Protected Turkey Vulture
🦃 The turkey vulture - one of the 146 native species protected by the Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) and Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority – was NOT on the menu for Thanksgiving! As the managing agency, RCTC is helping the RCA assemble a 500,000-acre reserve in western #RiversideCounty to protect birds like the turkey vulture and other species in the region. #Conservation #Infrastructure
