Did you know? Under , RCTC’s Specialized Transit Program provides funding to non-profit providers of transit services for seniors, persons with disabilities, and low-income individuals. At its June 12 meeting, the Commission awarded $9.9 million in Measure A funding to 15 non-profit and public agencies that provide specialized transit services.

City of Norco - Government Parks Recreation and Community Services Department, Forest Folks, and Care-A-Van are just some of the 15 grant recipients offering transportation options to medical appointments, social services, and everyday activities. These specialized services make a significant difference in filling in the gaps not met by traditional bus service and other forms of transportation. 🚌

The RCA acquired the Olsen Canyon Property in September 2022. The property sits east of I-15 and North of Dawson Canyon in the Temescal Canyon region. This area is home to many of the 146 MSHCP-protected species such as the gnatcatcher, rufous-crowned sparrow, and Bell’s sage sparrow.

🚧 🚉 The Metrolink 91/Perris Valley Line is scheduled to close this weekend, June 22-23. The two-day shutdown will allow crews to safely conduct system tests of infrastructure enhancements related to the Moreno Valley/March Field Station Improvements Project. Crews will reopen the 91/Perris Valley Line in time for the first train on Monday, June 24.

⏰ Closure: Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24
