Swimming Safety Tip!

Alive Solution Inc. did a study on the visibility of different color bathing suits underwater in a light colored pool, dark colored pool & a lake.

The colors that were the most visible were bright neon colors! It is advised to steer clear of black, gray and white bathing suits to avoid blending in with the water.

Choosing a bright color bathing suit can make a huge difference in the speed a child is found underneath a body of water.

Team work makes the dream work!

One team member is practicing how to properly pack a gunshot wound. The next is elevating the water bag for even flow, and the third member is pumping the water out of the wound to simulate the blood.

Once the water flow is blocked with the gauze, the student knows they properly packed the wound.
