It’s going to be warm this weekend! Here’s a grilling idea for the family or getting together with a group of friends. Try this teriyaki chicken recipe and enjoy an easy dinner that won’t take him much time at all. Add a tasty little cocktail on the side to bring in that summer vibe!☀️🕶

prep time 5 minutes
cook time 15 minutes
2 pounds chicken breast or chicken thighs
⅔ cup Tamari (gluten free soy sauce)
⅓ cup Aji Mirin
¼ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ cup Dr. Pepper
Mix all ingredients together in a medium size mixing bowl. Take a gallon size ziploc bag or large glass container to marinate teriyaki marinade and chicken breast overnight in the refrigerator.
Remove chicken from marinade and cook chicken for 5-7 minutes on one side and flip and cook on the other side. You want to make sure the chicken is cooked to the internal temp of 165 degrees F.
When the chicken is fully cooked you can serve with a cup of rice and some coleslaw to bring some fresh crunch. This combo is a must try!
Sometimes you just have to go out and do something for yourself. I’ve been wanting to go cross country skiing for awhile and I usually will go with a friend. Today was the day I went by myself and it felt so good.💗So if there is something you’ve been wanting to do…don’t wait go for it!✨☀️
