I have to congratulate my captain and mate today on a deadliest catch moment. the wahoo decided to bite just as a water spout, water tornado decided to descend right on top the boat and tear my lexan top to shreds. stuck the gaff in the wahoo, took a picture of smiling and safe customers and headed to the dock. safe and fun is what it's about. mother nature can be a bitch when she has PMS

took a day trip with son tyler to Bahamas since it was flat calm and the boat was open from chartering. big wahoos there.

summertime fishing has been great and love to see the kids in action. blackfin tuna here dont get much bigger than this.

while my charter boat was in the beautiful south Florida sunshine catching fish I took some time to learn new techniques from the great Alaskan fisherman who have a much harder job than almost all of us. they work 16 hours a day in some really bad weather conditions and my hat is off to them. what a hard working, fun people they are. and a beautiful state.

the igfa all tacke world record bonita is 18.4 pounds caught in Portugal in the 1960s. the charter today landed a monster bonita that just missed the world record by 1 pound. caught alot more fish too.

what better way to spend your 40th birthday than on the water catching mahi on an absolutely beautiful day

some overseas Russian and Ukrainian folks joined my crew for epic mahi fishing. instead of fighting all the time why cant all the countries just get along, act as a United human race, and have fun with each other.

father and son time on our 50ft boat . charter cancelled and my and tyler were already up so we trusted our own weather forecast and had a blast. if you have never tried to run a 50ft boat, take a conference call and have 2 or 3 fish on at one time with just 2 people I can tell you it is like the 3 stooges. but me and Tyler always like an adventurer. lost 4 or 5 fish but managed dinner for our women friends and family all in 2 hours

correction on my charter report from today. the 3rd marlin was a white one. still, 3 Marlin hookups in one day in south Florida is unreal.

while I am doing real work my charter was texting me that they had a blue marlin and lost it. we occasionally see them but rare. then they texted me they released a blue marlin. that would be #2 for the day and just crazy for palm beach. then they texted me and said they had #3 hooked up and I said no way. then they boated #3 for pics. just absolutely insane for palm beach Florida

this is why we are one of the busiest charters in the area. one of the only charters out today and mother nature was nice to us again. she deserves a nice date night as do all women. remember that guys. owner john
