We couldn't be more excited to finally share the news that we're popping up at tomorrow's mid-week market at Golden Cactus Brewing! Dr. Shauna will be set up from 5-8 pm right next to the sandbox for some family-friendly fun at their spooktacular Wednesday event.
Sometimes kids will not always know exactly how to respond to a situation. If they're asked, "What would a superhero say right now?" then they often come up with something empowering to say to their friend or even themselves. This technique inspired our booth for this event, the activities, and even the props for the photo booth. Meet Dr. Shauna Lynne, founder of Newbridge Therapy Center! With a Master's degree in Psychological Services from the University of Pennsylvania, and Masters and Doctoral degrees in School Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, Dr. Lynne has an impressive educational background. She also has hands-on experience providing outpatient therapy services to children and families at the Pediatric Developmental Disabilities Clinic at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. We're lucky to have her on our team at Newbridge Therapy Center!
