The Case Manager position will provide education, assessment and discharge planning services to clients at a high risk of relapse/continued use if basic needs are not met. The overall goal is to engage clients in needed services and improve outcomes for those working to address substance use, mental health and co-occurring issues in early recovery.
The provision of case management services, is designed to assist an individual with a substance use disorder and/or a mental illness, in accessing needed medical, psychiatric, social, educational, vocational, residential, and other supports essential for living in the community and meeting basic needs.
The schedule for this position is 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.

Do you have a Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work? Are you interested in counseling children and adolescents?
Therapists in our Children's Outpatient Counseling Program provide therapy to clients under the age of 18 to help them reach their treatment goals and objectives. Interventions include collaboration with family members, guardians, and others as appropriate for treatment. Therapists use many modalities including various forms of play therapy, CBT, DBT, EMDR, TF-CBT, and Theraplay. Additionally, reoccurring training opportunities are provided by the Agency for these and other treatment modalities.
The schedule for this position is a minimum of 40 hours/week within our clinic hours (Monday-Thursday 8:30am-7:00pm, F 8:00am-5:00pm). The selected candidate will be required to work 2 late nights per week.
What we are looking for: Suited candidates will have past work and/or practicum/internship experience with children, adolescents and families in an outpatient therapy setting. Come join our Crisis Receiving Center Team as the Manager 23-Hour Crisis Stabilization
This is a brand new position and will provide direct clinical and administrative guidance and supervisor to 23-Hour Crisis Stabilization staff. This position assists the program in the day-to-day management, ensuring day and night staffing coverage of the program. Participates in development of program services, and in monitoring of service quality and facility needs. Monitors compliance to ensure the program is meeting productivity, budget, utilization, accreditation, and licensure requirements. Provides leadership to ensure services are coordinated with other service components within the agency and the community. Provides direct services to individuals and families as needed to meet the program's goals.
Manager ensures 24/7 on call support for supervision, emergencies, and consultation purposes. May cover shifts when therapist is not available. Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive relationships between the 23-Hour Crisis Stabilization program and other BRBH programs such as Emergency Services, Same Day Access, CIT Assessment Center (CITAC), Marcus Alert Co-Response, and Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit. May also share leadership oversight and coverage of services within the crisis continuum.
Pay Range: $65,515.28-$98,272.92/annually

BRBH is looking for a highly-motivated and collaborative individual to manage a team of staff who are committed to supporting families of children and youth with complex emotional, behavioral, and environmental needs.
The Intensive Services Manager oversees the Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) program, which is comprised of intensive care coordination, peer supports, and related Children's Services Act (CSA) specialists. The manager defines the roles and duties of each staff person, monitors job performance, and conducts case reviews, in addition to ensuring adherence to guidelines of the Children's Services Act (CSA) in five (5) localities to certify proper documentation is presented to the CSA Coordinators, Family Assessment and Planning Teams (FAPT), and Community Policy and Management Teams (CPMT). This requires representing BRBH in a professional and responsive manner to both Inter and Intra Agency stakeholders and overseeing funding requests. The successful candidate will direct services and help ensure service plans developed by the children/youth and family are consistent with the principles of the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) process and are individualized, strength-based, culturally competent, and include steps for implementing crisis management. To support the Wraparound Facilitators and Parent and Youth Support Partners in their work in the team process, the Intensive Services Manager will employ various coaching strategies, such as group coaching, documentation review, and other modalities that build knowledge and create fidelity to the process. This position is required to successfully complete HFW for facilitators and supervisors as well as participate in a yearlong training to become a HFW Coach. BRBH is hiring a Regional Substance Use Disorder Hospital Liaison.
The Regional Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Hospital Liaison plays a key role in addressing the current bed capacity crisis in state psychiatric facilities. This is a complex position requiring strong interpersonal, relationship building, and collaboration skills. The Liaison interacts with executive management of multiple CSBs, state psychiatric facilities, emergency services, and discharge planning staff.
The Liaison participates in services to transfer the client already hospitalized to the appropriate level of SUD treatment as soon as possible, including putting into place supports an individual needs to be successful in the community or alternative placement. The Liaison works with all regional CSB Emergency Services staff for consultation and possible diversion of state hospital admissions to services specifically focused on treating the individual's substance use disorder. The Liaison also tracks data that will need to be communicated and disseminated to CSB and hospital management.
This position requires 15% travel across Southwestern Virginia.
