Don't mind us, we're still in winter hibernation.
(Okay not really, we actually have a lot going on that's just not farm-related so we've been prioritizing and social media didn't make the cut).
Hope everyone's faring well with rainstorms. Your sporadic content will maybe resume soon. Or we'll keep being consistently inconsistent.
For now, we still have eggs. π₯
Stand is restocked with eggs! Stop by to pick some up. π
You've heard of Fox in the henhouse, but what about cat in the chicken coop?
πΈπ
Eggs are restocked in the market, and we now offer duck π¦ eggs in Β½ dozen!
We have duck π¦and chicken π₯ eggs π₯ available!
Stop by our self-serve market!
Duck and chicken eggs are restocked in the market! We keep the door shut because of the cold - it's unlocked from 9AM-9PM, the door may be a bit sticky when trying to open.
Thank you all for your support this chestnut season! This was was our first foray into you-pick and we are grateful for all who came through. It was so fun hearing where everyone came from, especially having those who traveled from PA and NY.
π°
We had hoped to continue you-pick into next weekend but unfortunately, Mother Nature didn't cooperate and we will only have limited chestnuts, already picked, available for purchase at the market. Thanks again and keep in touch for next year!
We have you-pick chestnuts this weekend! A few notes/reminders:
β’ You-pick is offered from 11AM-4PM. We may not be able to accommodate those who arrive earlier than 11AM.
β’ Gloves are strongly recommended, as are closed toed shoes. In fact, with all the rain we've gotten lately, you can count on your shoes getting muddy so please dress accordingly.
β’ We will have buckets available to use for picking and all purchased chestnuts will be packaged in bags.
β’ The fences are for the safety of you, your loved ones and our free range animals. Our animals are not accustomed to being pet so please do not try to pet them.
β’ Please stay in the designated area. We also have an active apiary (beehives) and there are lots of other stinging pollinators around - keep this in mind if you or a member of your family has allergies.
β’ Our home is a part of the farm, please respect our privacy.
β’ You-pick is $4.50 per pound. If you'd like to purchase already picked chestnuts, it is $6.50 per pound or containers are priced as marked in the market. Prices are non-negotiable. Cash, Zelle, Venmo accepted.
β’ This is our first organized you-pick offering, so please be patient as we navigate the process.
Please reach out if you have any questions. Thank you!
We've got eggs! Prices marked on package as the eggs are currently medium sized and we expect to have large eggs soon. We've also got chestnuts coming strong; honey, peach butter and delicate squash; the end of tomatoes and peppers is in sight. Stop by!
Although we're not quite ready for you-pick, the chestnuts are coming in! Stop by our self-serve market to pick some up. π°
Coming soon, you-pick chestnuts! Check out our events page for more information and available dates. π°
With the tomatoes naturally slowing down and all the rain we've gotten recently, we've cut back our wholesale tomato deliveries, which means we're stocking directly to our farm stand. π Lots of peppers, honey and peach butter still also!
Peppers are popping! An array of beautiful colored peppers can be found at the stand. We have sweet (bell and fry/Carmen), and others ranging from medium to hot (poblano, cayenne, Hungarian hot wax, jalapeno, habanero). Stop by and pick some up!
Just when we thought peach season was over, look π what's hitting the market tonight! This is the absolute best on toast or crackers.
The self-serve farm market is officially open on Windsor Road in Robbinsville! Featuring all kinds of peppers, heirloom tomatoes, honey and more. Open 10AM until dusk every day (for now).
Handful of happiness.
Beheaded Thai basil tonight to slow flower development and promote bushy plants. Such a lovely scent. Let's see what this becomes!
These yellow pear seedlings are looking fiiiiiiine this morning. True Leaf Market
Beauty in the blossom.

Trial of red-veined micro sorrel was a lovely success !
This was our first Christmas tree. We took probably 8 months to decide where to plant it, and recently our local beaver has developed an interest in it. Despite it never really looking like a picture perfect Christmas tree, it still brings us joy.
