We have two very sweet pups that need a home! They are a pair of hound mixes. Two little old ladies. Their owner sadly passed away and they had nowhere to go. If you know anyone who needs two little companions send them our way. They love people and seem to not mind other dogs. We want them adopted together as they’ve never been apart with us.
Meet Winston!
Winston is a 2 1/2 year old german short haired pointer who is looking to be rehomed, no fault of his own. His owner can’t spend as much time with him as he would like.
Winston is a very engertic, dog friendly lovable dog. Winston also knows how to hunt!
We have boarded winston with us many times before and he is great. He would make an awesome family dog.
Contact us if you are interested!
Check out Enzo! We’ve had the pleasure of knowing him and he is an awesome dog, he would be a great addition to the family!

The wait has finally come to an end. Our sweet Papi headed off this morning to go meet his foster. We spent about 5 years with Papi. We will miss him but so happy for him and his new adventures!❤️

Tank would rather have us wake him up with a treat when he’s done!
Don’t forget to sign your dogs up for a bath and nail trim before they go home!

Loving this sunshine today☀️
Custer was a previous surrendered paws up dog. He was given to us because his previous family was not able to keep up with his activity level. He stayed with us for about 2 months until he was adopted to be a service dog. He stayed here for his training and was trained by our trainer Henry here at wilderness kennels. Custer's training took only 4 months to complete.
Most of the time service dog training at most facilities and programs take about a little over a year to complete. The dog most of the time stays with 2-3 fosters for about 6 months each.
Henry works on obedience skills, leash/off leash manners, people manners, skills that apply to the certain individual and working in the public. While the dog is in training here, the owners do come out and work with Henry and the dog so they know how to reinforce the dog at home once he has completed training.
