The residents of American House Elmwood celebrated Oktoberfest this week. We had beer, pretzels and, of course, polka!

This October, let’s unite to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Whether it’s through education, early detection or simply showing support, every small step counts. Let’s honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors and continue the fight for a cure.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer, promoting early detection and supporting those affected by the disease. While breast cancer awareness is vital for all ages, it’s especially important for seniors.

The residents of American House Elmwood celebrated Grandparents Day with family and friends. Kids of all ages enjoyed the games, bounce house and face painter!

Happy Grandparents Day! Today, we honor the guiding lights in our lives—our grandparents. Their love, laughter and life lessons shape us in ways we’ll treasure forever.

As Summer winds down, the residents of American House Elmwood enjoyed one last Summer blast with some Hawaiian fun. We watched "Blue Hawaii" and sipped on Hawaiian cocktails.

As Summer’s warmth gradually gives way to Fall’s crisp weather, September offers a wonderful opportunity for seniors to embrace the beauty of seasonal changes.
