Cheers to 4 incredible years here, through Covid right after we first opened, to new staff, office renovations, technology upgrades, a staff trip to Punta Cana and so so much more… we are so grateful to our incredible patients for allowing us to be here today, and to Dr Vega for being an incredible boss and Doctor! 🤍

Today is a University holiday to celebrate the birthday and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Events are planned across our campuses throughout the week, culminating with the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Address on Friday, January 19, delivered by journalist, author, and associate professor of journalism at New York University Rachel L. Swarns.

Professor Swarns is a contributing writer for the New York Times, where she was a journalist for 22 years. As part of her work, she examines research on slavery and its lasting impact on the United States.

Her latest book, "The 272: The Families Who Were Enslaved and Sold to Build the American Catholic Church," was named one of the best books of 2023 by numerous publications, including the New York Times Book Review, the New Yorker, Time magazine, and the Washington Post.
