In light of the tournament being canceled, a few people reached out and asked if they could still donate and help out. With permission from Mike and his family, I have been given Mike's venmo. I'd like to thank those who reached out and offered to help. And to anyone else who helps out as that was my main goal from the very beginning. 📢 LONG POST ALERT 🗣

Wow!

What a day we had at Wally's Worlds! I'm sure everyone was a bit concerned when they arrived to an outfield covered in frost. 30 degrees isn't prime softball weather? 😆 Well, as if it were scripted perfectly, the weather turned out for a beautiful 60+ degree day! Our second hiccup was during game 1 of the whole tournament. Two bats in two consecutive innings broke, eliminating the two bats I received for that field. Anarchy was gratuitous enough to send me four bats so I could have everyone swing their product. Well, when you mix hard balls, composite bats, and 30 degree weather, bad things could happen to bats. MVP of the whole tournament in my opinion was Mike Snyder (Anarchy Pro) for offering his stock of bats to the tournament. Crisis averted! The day started at 8 AM and ended at 5 PM with Big Dawg Sublimation being crowned the Champions! 🏆💍

The goal for the day was to raise money for Ashley Boucher and her family. As I mentioned on the Bring It Podcast, Ashley lost her husband far too soon and she now faces a life raising two young children on one income alone. Thanks to every single person I saw down at the field, player or spectator, we were able to raise $2150 for Ashley and her family! For those who didn't get a chance to make it and wanted to help out more, is her venmo!

New this year was Red's Good Vibes food truck! We heard nothing but great reviews all day from the food, to the service, to the cause. These guys do an unbelievable job of serving the community with food and kindness. And on top of that, they don't charge for food... what!? They received donations for their time and chose to donate that back to Ashley and her family 💜 Because of their generous decision, we will be countering with a donation of $150 for their time and efforts. This tournament takes a toll on myself and my family so I'd like to thank my Wife everything! Yuge thanks goes to my Father-in-Law for grilling all day! Thanks to my Mom for helping out too! It's crazy how something as silly as a game of softball can have such an impact for people. 💜

Anyway..here are the rules for tomorrow. They will be posted at both fields.. A safety bag will be used tomorrow to avoid potential injury with the mats behind the plate. This will be explained at the coin flip. Breakfast sandwiches will be grilling in rochester bright and early. Burgers and dogs will be available throughout the day. Red's Good Vibes food truck in gonic will be setting up and prepping to serve from 10 am until games are over at that field. There will be a 50/50, I will try my best to get over to gonic throughout the day to accommodate. PLEASE BE READY TO PLAY 30 MINS BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED GAME!!!!!!!!
