Walk-in Wednesday

Wedge Waddle Walk-in Warm Up

Are you familiar with the Wedge Waddle? The Wedge Waddle is an annual 3-mile walk/run/waddle around the South Wedge neighborhood on Thanksgiving morning. It encourages friends and family to meet, mingle, and get a bit of exercise as a new Thanksgiving tradition. The event also encourages participants to bring donations of new socks for St. Joe's House of Hospitality. Adrien is a regular participant each year, but his knee isn't recovered enough after surgery to do so this year. In lieu of walking himself, he's encouraging you to walk in for a new tattoo with a new, warm pack of socks to donate. If you do so he will give you 20% off of the walk-in minimum as thanks for caring. We hope to see you then!

The Spooky Edition

Halloween will be upon us before you know it and October's Walk-in Wednesday will fall right next to it. Join us on the 30th to celebrate the day with AOK. We will have some special tricks up our sleeves in the form of some spooky flash specials drawn special for the day, and some sweet treats to BOO-t. Back to School Clothing

Drive/Swap Recap

August 17 we hosted our first charity event at the shop. Thank you to all those who were able to participate by donating clothing, food, and supplies for those in need. We ran a giveaway in conjunction with it all where raffle tickets could be earned for social media participation, and additionally for donating goods at/for the event. We were pleasantly surprised that four of the five giveaway winners were folks who came in to donate. Thank you all once again and we look forward to the next time we are able to do something similar. Keep your eyes peeled!

Walk-in Wednesday

The Hobbled Edition

Adrien underwent knee surgery late in August to replace his ACL and repair his meniscus. As a result this month's Walk-in Wednesday will be on September 25, later in the month than usual. Will he still be on crutches come the date? Come find out first hand. He's itching to be back in his station with you all making wonderful work alongside Alice, so he'll be there even if he has to crawl. August 17 we will be hosting a clothing drive/swap and food drive with our neighbors , and Elevated Beauty. We invite you to swing by the shop to say hello and donate new/gently used clothing, and non-perishable food items. If you have a similar clothing item to something you see and like (i.e. new shirt with tags for another new or used shirt, or used jeans for a used skirt) please also feel free to swap. Please note that items you hope to donate specifically to need to be new, unused, and still have the tags on them.

Also we will be giving away five AOK giftbags with gift cards, apparel, and other merch at the end of the month. Earn entries into the giveaway between now through August 17 for each of the following:
