Our 2024-25 Women's Fall/Winter Adult Draft Hockey League skates on Sundays, starting October 6th!

The League Features:
• 22 weeks, including playoffs, with excellent Sunday game times
• No checking or slap shots - focus on fun, clean hockey
• Scoring in real-time on website
• Strict enforcement of rules
• Individual awards for champion & finalist teams
• Registered players will be supplied with a jersey

First week will be a training camp session where Suburban coaches will evaluate players and place on teams.

Hockey Players Ages 10-12 & Ages 13-16 -- We are hosting the HoneyBaked High Performance Camp August 12-15th.

The SHS/HBHC High Performance Camp provides high intensity training both on and off the ice. The on-ice sessions focus on developing efficient and powerful skating habits, along with puck handling, puck protection, and shooting/scoring skills through detailed coaching and technical training.

The off-ice performance training sessions focus on efficient body movement, core work, and quick twitch muscle development. These sessions take place after the on-ice element.

Congratulations to Madison for earning the pewter medal in the Excel Pre-Juvenile Plus Girls Group B category at the 2024 National Excel Festival.

Congrats to the Royal Oak Hockey Club for being named the Top Association of the Year and HoneyBaked Hockey Club for being the second at the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association meetings over the weekend. Royal Oak received the John Stansik Association of the Year Award for their contributions to the sport and efforts to grow the game. Associations were measured on several specific growth measurements for the Association of the Year Contest.

The Ray Kraemer award annually goes to the MAHA adult player or participant who has been helpful in the promotion and development of adult hockey. Congrats to our very own Tom Zagacki for his commitment & work to grow adult hockey.
