From Science magazine's coverage of the March for Science:

"Outside the entrance to the march, a crew from the science education program InSciEd Out, based in Rochester, Minnesota, prepared for the day, reports Kelly Servick. They came attired in zebrafish hats.

"We knew that the brain hat was a very high potential" among marchers, says Chris Pierret, a biologist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, but his group commissioned crocheted zebrafish hats, honoring one of their favorite disease research models."

InSciEd out brings science fun to India 08/28/2015

InSciEd out brings science fun to India March 9, 2015 This story originally appeared on the In the Loop blog. Christopher Pierret, Ph.D., jokes (we think) that as coordinator of the InSciEd Out Program, which brings science fun to classrooms in the region and now the world, his job is to “make sure nothing blows up.” While we’re sure that safety is a chief concern for the Mayo biochemist and molecular biologist, it’s clear his vision is much bigger.
