Dermaplane facials are my absolute favorite, especially when they’re paired with an oxygen or enzyme treatment. The results are instant and the glow is unmatched!
Here are a few benefits of dermaplaning that go beyond the glow:
-allows products to pe*****te deeper and work more effectively
-instantly minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
-lessens the appearance of uneven texture/tone
-makeup application goes on much more smooth and even

I have a few new followers, and I haven’t formally introduced myself on here so…
Hi🙋🏼♀️My name is Kadi (like Katie) and I am a licensed aesthetician in Rochester, NY. I have been practicing for 7 years, but in the industry overall for almost 20. I specialize in corrective skincare and work with and products. I treat all skin conditions and tones, with a focus on sensitivity, pigmentation and acne
I have worked with so many skincare lines throughout my career, and it was through that as well as my personal life that I have learned three major things:
1️⃣ the contrast of holistic and modern medicine practices
2️⃣ skincare is not one size fits all
3️⃣ the best results come from a varied scope of treatment plan
During your course of treatment, I will take an in-depth approach to determine how to correct your concerns, why they are happening, and what path we will take—both in and out of the treatment room—to reach your ultimate skin goals and how to maintain them long term.
Fun KdFresh Facts:
•Extractions are the reason why I became an aesthetician
•I’m a mom to the funniest and most sarcastic little boy on earth👩👦
•I’m a bird person🦜I have two parakeets named

•Taylor Swift is my favorite
•There’s not a better person on the planet than my bf 🥰
•My initials are KHS and a lot of people refer to me as that🙃
•I am obsessed with music and almost always have something playing no matter where I am or what I’m doing
If you made it this far, thanks for coming to my KHS talk💕 I can’t wait to meet and get you
XOXO Kadi

Let’s touch base on this.
A continual cancel-er is someone who regularly schedules on your books but never comes in. They cancel within the cancellation timeframe, but they’ve booked for weeks/months and reschedule for weeks/months out. They keep rescheduling/canceling/rescheduling/canceling. Again and again. Historically.
What’s the big deal?
Think of it like this: you are online shopping and fall in love with a cute dress. There is only 1 left in your size and you can’t get it because it’s in someone else’s cart. They want it but probably aren’t going to buy it, but you can’t have it because it’s sitting in their cart.
Let’s circle back to service providers— continual cancel-ers take up space on our books that could be delegated to someone who REALLY wants to get in on that day during that time. Trust me, us service providers get it! Things happen. Life happens. S**T HAPPENS! But when it becomes a routine pattern…woof.
Consideration & respect for others’ time goes a long way🍯🐝
FYI: the Glymed website is experiencing some sort of technical difficulties and is currently down. I know many of you are trying to purchase product, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'll let you know as soon as it's back up and running again. If you're in need of something ASAP, I'm more than happy to make sample sizes for you to hold you over until the problem is resolved.
No one likes dealing with bacne. 😫
Did you know I offer an acne-clearing back facial? With summer right around the corner, you should definitely get a jump-start on clearing up your back so you can jump into that bikini by MDW—hit the button in my bio to get on the boat for this! If you're experiencing blemishes, clogged pores and cystic acne on your back, you can try the following:
🚿 Shower right after your workouts.
🧴 Be sure to rinse all hair conditioner off your neck and shoulders before you exit the shower.
🧺 Change and wash your sheets more often, every week is ideal.
👚 Try looser bras, shirts and switch to more breathable fabrics when choosing shirts and tops.
🧼 Swap out your laundry detergent and look for something with less or no dyes and perfumes, as those can irritate the skin and trigger a breakout.
Ever pulled out a serum to find it has turned a funky shade?
Or opened a moisturizer only to find its smell has gotten a bit more… pungent?
We’ve all been there.
🌸 With the season of decluttering on its way, it's time to Marie Kondo your skin care shelves.
Age your wine and cheese, but not your skin care products.
Clean out dust and debris from behind the old bottles to keep everything tidy and to reduce the risk of contaminants making their way into products on the daily.
You should be cleaning your makeup brushes regularly, but spring time might be a good reminder to do a deeper clean with gentle soap. 🧼
Please tag me in your shelfies once you're as fresh as spring daisies! 🌼
Drinking is one of the worst things we do to our skin. Which may or may not come as sad news if you like a a couple of buzzy beverages once in a while. 🥲
Because alcohol is a diuretic, it’s dehydrating and one of the main causes for our hangovers. It also leaves skin feeling dehydrated and dry, making fine lines and wrinkles more visible.
What's worse is that we all know that sleep is essential for a glowing complexion, and unsurprisingly, alcohol isn’t the best set-up for a good night’s sleep! 😢
It can also be an indirect cause of breakouts or acne. What you eat and drink can be evidenced in your skin. 😭
If you're having a couple of glasses of wine, be sure to drink extra, extra water! And keep on top of your skin routine!
Follow big nights out with from GlyMed Plus Purely Professional Skin Care🤩

Roses are red, violets are blue, you need a facial, and a too!
What have I missed? Anything you'd add to the list?
If I had to pick only three, they would be:
🌹 Nails done by Rocky Greco's Salon
🌹 Lashes by SHE Salon
🌹 Brows by The Taylored Kitty
Are we in Chem-101 or browsing a skin care aisle looking for a simple formulation?👩🔬 Maybe, kind of...both?
Acids are common ingredients in beauty products because they do help improve skin.
How? They promote cell turnover. This causes older cells to shed and new ones will quickly grow below. Which = improved skin texture.
First lesson—acids are not all the same! Knowing the differences between them can help you target specific skin concerns.
Different acids zero in on specific complexion concerns depending on the molecular size of the acid and its strength.
Don't feel overwhelmed trying to figure out the difference between them. As long as you can remember the best acids for YOUR skin type and skin care goals, that’s really all that matters…and I can definitely help you with that!
Schedule a consultation with me to better go over which treatments and acids are best suited for you❤️
WHY? 🤔 Retinol helps unclog your pores, exfoliates and smooths skin. It can diminish the appearance of hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and improves skin hydration AND treats acne. Okay, wow. Thank you!
WHO? 🙋♀️ All skin types can use retinol, but anyone with fair or sensitive skin should be cautious as it may be harder for you to adjust to the potency of retinol. No over-exfoliated or recently sun-damaged skin either. Also not for pregnant women.
WHEN? ⏰ It's popular for people who have hit their thirties. But all ages can reap the rewards of retinol. Dermatologists use it for teens with acne and often recommend that they continue to use it after it's cleared up. 🌛 Use it at night and wear SPF every day as retinol makes your skin more sensitive to UV rays.
HOW? 🤨 Integrate retinol slowly and gently. Start with a small, chocolate chip-sized amount one night. Wait a few days to evaluate your tolerance. If your skin gets red and flaky, mix the retinol formula with your moisturizer. Use retinol once or twice a week at first, and gradually work up to every other day or three times a week....
PAIRING? 👯♀️ Lactic acid pairs really well with retinol! I might also follow up with a hyaluronic acid serum and then a moisturizer.
FORMULA? 🧪 If you’re new to retinol, start off with a low dose of around 0.025%. If you don't have any unwanted reactions, you can slowly move up to a higher percentage.
DON'T? 🙅♀️ Do NOT pair with chemical peels, vitamin C, or neglect to apply to your neck or décolletage.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Got acne? Steer clear of these guys👆🏻
Although the foods we consume are not scientifically proven to be a direct cause of acne, they can be a pre-cursor to cause inflammation within the body, and can lead to an acne breakout.
Your skin health is a direct reflection of your gut health. In order to achieve superior skin potential, one must crucially avoid inflammatory foods at all costs.
