Micro is all about quality, precision ,efficiency and continual improvement. Our Haas VF9 helps us to achieve these goals in many ways.

🗯 This machine has a large work envelope of 84” x 40” x 30” allowing for the machining of larger parts or multiple smaller parts in one setup. This increases productivity and efficiency in the manufacturing processes. This also allows us to work on different projects without tearing down set-ups.

🧐 Our Haas VF9 is equipped with Renishaw probes for touching off tools and measuring parts. When you have machines with large travel capacities, you also need to be able to qualify your work. This is essential for industries where tight tolerances are required, such as aerospace and automotive. Our probing system helps us with in process inspection to check true positions, profiles, and other tolerances before the part is removed from the machine and makes its way to quality.

✔ Our VF9 has a 10,000 RPM 50 taper spindle. This gives us flexibility and rigidity for jobs where heavy cutting or large amounts of material are to be removed, while still giving us high RPM when speed or small tooling is needed. Its not uncommon to have a 2” diameter indexable endmill and a .025” diameter endmill lined up next to each other!
