✝️ Our dedicated Rochester Catholic Schools faculty and staff united at Lourdes High School for a gathering of hearts and minds during All Staff Welcome Day! 💜💛 We began the day celebrating the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary with Mass led by Fr. Steffes, enjoyed donuts and coffee, heard updates from our Safety Committee, IT Department, and the Central Office before Lourdes Student Ambassadors led us on a tour of LHS. 🏫

The morning finished with an inspiring message from our President, Tina Monosmith, and a Commissioning from Fr. Steffes. All staff received RCS swag before heading off to grade level team meetings! 🎒🦅

🎶🎷🥁 As the Lourdes High School marching band camp came to a close, everyone channeled their inner rock star and were ready to “Paint it Black.”  Just like the iconic tune, the last two weeks have been filled with intensity, rhythm, and moments that truly rocked. And after countless hours of practice and perfecting notes, the band came together to show how far they’ve come by performing for friends and family on the RCTC football field. 🎉🦅👏🏼

A massive shoutout to the incredible instructors, bandmates and volunteers that have made this camp unforgettable.  From perfecting formations to jamming out together, the students are creating a masterpiece of energy and camaraderie. Here’s to continuing this energy throughout the season. 💜💛

⚾ Many of our RCS Eagles played on the Peregrines 10U baseball team. After going 16-1 during the season, the team finished 1st in the Southern Minny RYBA tournament! 🏆

🎶🎷🥁 Summer band camp began Monday morning for the Lourdes High School marching band. In preparation for the fall competition season, students will spend the next two weeks working on marching skills, music, and drill for their show "Paint it Black."  Band camp is a time of intensive all-day rehearsal during which our students make tremendous growth as musicians, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and build lasting friendships in a supportive community. 💜💛 We can't wait to see their show this fall! 🎉

Rochester native Joe Sperry commits to play baseball at University of Minnesota Joe Sperry, a 2022 Lourdes High School graduate, recently finished a stellar two-year junior college baseball career. He announced Tuesday that he'll transfer and play for the Gophers.

Lourdes standout Colton Rich is the 2024 Post Bulletin All-Area Boys Golfer of the Year Colton Rich earned a third consecutive top-five finish in the section, a second consecutive top-10 finish in the state, and the best scoring average in southeastern Minnesota this spring.
