🏝️🚢 Did you hear? Disney Cruise Line’s new island destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, is open! Located on the Bahamian Island of Eluthera, this new port was developed with environmental protection and cultural inclusion at the forefront, so you’ll immediately notice a few differences from Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.

🌿 For starters, the 1/2 mile long walk to the island is to preserve the natural reef. Now, if you’re no stranger to Walt Disney World, those steps won’t seem like much, but for some it could be a little daunting. It for sure changes how I recommend my clients pack and prepare for the day. 🌞🏖️ Apply sunscreen before disembarking and wear comfortable shoes. Then, based on my client’s travel party, I might suggest bringing a stroller for littles or requesting a wheelchair for those who might need one for the walk.
