Even though Courtney Lindsey didn't get to compete today, across the district watch parties were held to root for Team USA. While Team USA isn't walking away with any medals we are EXTREMELY proud of Courtney who helped his team make it to the finals. Making it to the Olympics is a HUGE achievement in itself! WAY TO GO COURTNEY! ROCK ISLAND IS PROUD OF YOU!💛

🦋How it started vs how's it going...
Last school year the Rock Island High School's Environmental Action Club created a butterfly garden in the courtyard. There are five butterfly bushes, eight Irises, and two watering stations. Over a dozen students helped out. It looks great!
🇺🇸How sweet is this! Rock Island Center for Math and Science had another Olympian they were cheering on. RICMS principal, Mr. Hawley’s son-in-law, Freddie Crittenden competed in the 110 high hurdles today. The school held a watch party and cheered him on! Freddie placed 6th!
COURTNEY LINDSEY WINS THE 4x100 RELAY SEMIFINAL! He will advance to Friday’s final! GOOOOOOOOOO Courtney!!!
