First coat of finish is on….looking snazzy!

Body #1 ready for carving. On to #2!

And there you have it. 2 necks ready for fitting, minus a little headstock clean up. Now on to the bodies.

Fretboard is glued up and almost ready for carving.

Sometimes a project just comes together better than anticipated. I wasn’t expecting to work on the electronics for this guitar amp build, but all the thank you’s go out to Hochstrasser Electronics for helping and teaching me at the end with testing.

Electronics aside, I did build the cabinet and amp head enclosure as well. Amp head is dovetail jointed walnut with Padauk, Purple Heart and maple accents. Cabinet is a 2x12 with Celestion greenbacks, finger jointed Baltic birch ply.

Going forward, I won’t be doing amp builds, but will be building guitar speaker cabinets and doing amp rehousing in solid wood enclosures. If interested, reach out.

I’ve been quiet for a while, but with purpose. Added some new tools to the shop and we’ll be expanding our offerings. Like this beauty. Hickory slab on the table and ready for a makeover. Half done. It’ll be a nice looking coffee table when it’s done.
