Often we are off and about on boats, making big enclosures and whole cabins full of cushions. But sometimes it's nice to make something smaller, that we can finish in a day. A wonderful customer had them made for her customers as a thank you gift. What a special idea Fox Hill Farm!

When you have a window settee, slipcover, and pillows and need something special - These sample books were just added to our library. We are just in love with these Morris and Co. fabrics.

A few weeks ago we shared a 1935 historic, picnic-style boat's new enclosure that we fabricated. Here is a closer look at the cushions we also made for "Ruth" and the Portland Schooner Co.

Fabric: Sunbrella Linen and Captain Navy

This pup agrees the new fabric on these settee cushions is first-rate. As these cushions are 5-inches of pure down and feather, this is by far the coziest place in the house!

Fabric used: Morris and Co for both the pillows and the cushions

Classic and classy cushions and enclosure for this lovely little wooden lake boat project. This vessel was in the hard in Friendship, Maine before Portland Schooner Company scooped her up and put her back into work. "Ruth" is a 1935 historic, picnic-style boat built right here in Maine. She's the sweet little vessel that could.

Fabrics used: Sunbrella Linen and Captain Navy, Strataglass, and stainless steel fastensers.

This seven-panel enclosure system serves both as winter protection and summer weather protection. The view from this quiet, Maine island location is unparalleled. The owners wanted to savor the view even on chilly Maine evenings or rainy afternoons.
Fabrics used: Stamoid Cloud Grey, Strataglass, and all stainless fasteners.

We returned from the Marine Fabricator's Conference in St. Petersburg, FL a few weeks ago now and there's still so much to share with the team in the shop about what we learned.

The collective generosity and the wealth of knowledge shared at the conference was astonishing. We are so proud and grateful to be a part of this community.

Last week we finished this custom sail cover for a Landings School refit. What a lovely little boat!

We weren't able to get a photo of this spray dodger while the boat was in the water, but here she is waiting for the summer season to begin.

A classic color for a classic dory. This boat is both a rowing and sailing vessel and is ready for the summer season. Now all we need is for the weather to warm up just a bit!

This classy runabout is trimmed in mahogany and teak. The mooring cover helps keep the fresh water and rain off so that she's shiny and well-cared for when the owners come to use her.

As a boat owner, making sure your cover is closefitting and waterproof is important to protecting your investment. Also, when you do have time to hang on the water, taking the cover off and dropping the mooring line is so much better than cleaning up detritus for an hour before getting underway.

Sometimes we're on boats and sometimes we are inside. This time it was creating pillows and settee cushions for this gorgeous window seat. Still has a view of the water, though!

This sweet little sailboat got some cushions last summer to make things a bit more comfortable for both the helmsman and those enjoying the scenery.

Sometimes it's the simplest of things. This aft enclosure fits perfectly and is going to keep it's lobsterman warm and dry as he goes out to haul traps on the cold, stinky days. Also, it matches exactly the accent color of the boat.

These delicious cushions are going to have this view. Pretty, pretty, pretty.

A full Strataglass replacement for this enclosure. It's a more affordable option for those who want clean, clear glass, but aren't quite ready to invest in a whole new system. It buys at least a.few.more.years if the fabric is still solid. Customer is happy and so are we.

This was a quick one for a Stickley rocking chair.

Happy with how these matching cushions turned out. The top stitching worked out well.
