Ted Gartland stoped by the lab today to sign a new print of his image “Happiness” from All Down the Line: The Rolling Stones in Boston at before it is sent to its buyer. Ted’s show is on view at Panopticon Gallery for a few more weeks before First Look 2024 is installed. Make sure to take a look!
Alexa is spotting a few 11x14 silver gelatin dark room prints before they are packaged up and shipped to photographer . Printing this wintery image right after this year’s first real snowfall feels like perfect timing!
With the new year comes a new announcement: after 4 decades working for and owning Panopticon Imaging, Paul has retired. We cannot thank him enough for his leadership, hard work, and guidance while we have been his employees and we are sure that past employees can say the same. We look forward to sharing more posts about Paul’s accomplishments throughout the week.
We (.ion_ and ) have taken over ownership of the business while Paul has closely helped us through this transition. We are excited to continue to help Panopticon Imaging clients with all of their photographic and framing needs moving forward. As always, we appreciate you using our services.

Today we worked on one of our more unique installations— we applied our adhesive paper to a customer’s fridge to help it better blend in with their beautiful antique decor. The paper was coated with an archival sealant to protect the art from kitchen messes. We love helping to bring an imaginative project to life!

We just finished up framing this broadcast sheet for a customer’s classic car. Our customer found this under the car’s seat while he was making repairs.
We mounted float mounted this sheet within white 8ply mat board and used a black wooden frame.
We will be closing early today at 3:30 in order to prepare for tonight’s reception at . We hope to see you all there!
