Even if you respected your finances and kept it simple
Even if you are struggling to balance it all.

Me time.

I stopped feeling guilty about prioritizing this this year. My journey of “less” in 2023, gave me space to leave the dishes for one more chapter, less TV for simple moments with tea and a window, less scrolling for more journaling and 5-15-5.

The kids are on bed by 7:30/8 every night and after some catch-up time with the husband, I excised myself without guilt to be here, like this.

Ahimsa, one of the Yama, teaches me that I don’t have to harm myself with guilt or over-stimulus. I don’t have to harm myself with “I should ___” or “I shouldn’t_____.” I get to love myself just like this.

Hope is more than hypothetical optimism. Instead, it is concentrated focus on the faithfulness of God’s PROVEN provision. This gets me stuck when I assume I know what His provision will look like.
my yoga practice has taught me stillness required to focus on the present moment instead of the perceived, desired outcome. Yin yoga, especially helps the inner chatter poses are held from multiple minutes. You have to learn to be comfortable in the present, instead of wondering what comes next.
