We are happy to announce that the rumors which have been circulating around Rockville Centre are in fact true.

After twenty years, my brother, Ron Spieler and I, have decided it was time to step down as owners of RJ Daniels.

We couldn’t be happier to announce that the new owners will be long time employees; Dan Maywald, Michael O’Brien, Griffin Condon and their close friend Tanner Robinson.

Look for an upgraded and exciting new RJ Daniels coming very soon.

To our customers, many who have become friends and family over the years, we cannot possibly thank you enough. We are forever grateful for your support and loyalty. We are honored and humbled to have served you for over two decades! Thank you!!

To our staff, past and present, we cannot thank you enough for your hard work and dedication over the last twenty years. We have built friendships that will last a lifetime. We have had more good times and laughs than could ever be counted (or remembered). Thank you!!

This coming Saturday will be our last Rockville Centre St. Patrick’s Parade as owners. The RVC Parade has meant so much to us over the years. The charitable work done by the parade committee, since its inception in 1997, is something that should be admired by everyone.

I have been a member of the parade committee for twenty three years and was a member of the Board of Directors for several of those years. I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of such an amazing organization. It has been so special to have watched the parade (and all of the amazing events that come along with it), grow over the years.

Please join us this Saturday at RJ Daniels for Live Irish Music by Dark Streets starting at 3pm. It’s sure to be a party you don’t want to miss!!

(We will be donating 15% of all of our lunch proceeds to the 2024 RVC St. Patrick’s Parade Charities.)
