Lots of emotions felt, but everyone agreed that their child was in great hands and going to have a wonderful day at Fallsmead. We certainly have an incredible school community!

The Fallsmead PTA is excited to welcome New York Times best-selling children’s book author Debbie Levy in honor of National Jewish American History month in May. Some of her best-known books include “I Dissent: Ruth Bader Ginsburg Makes Her Mark,” and “We Shall Overcome: The Story of a Song.”

Ms. Levy will host two assemblies this Friday, May 31, one for K-2 and another for 3-6, where she will discuss her craft, read from “I Dissent” and answer questions from the students.

📢URGENT: Support Fallsmead's Staff Development Teacher: Ms. Manoel!

Montgomery County is proposing changes to the role of the Staff Development Teacher position. This role is vital for our school and community and Mrs. Amanda Manoel serves in this role at Fallsmead and has made an incredible impact on teaching and learning this year. Let's rally together to maintain it as a full-time position at Fallsmead!

Our Fallsmead Staff are Superheroes! We can’t wait to celebrate them this week.

A huge thanks to all the parents and students who kicked things off by decorating doors last Friday!

Don't forget to stop by the school today to CHALK THE WALK!

Today, Sunday, May 5th, stop by anytime during the day to add notes and drawings showing the staff how much we appreciate them.

Chalk will be available by both the front and side doors, or feel free to bring your own. If it's raining, we'll still decorate under both awnings.

Our theme this year is "Our Staff are Superheroes!"
