Had a great time at the Asian BBQ Festival this weekend at the Rockville Town Center. It was wonderful celebrating our community's diversity and enjoying delicious BBQ. Thanks to the organizers for showcasing Asian culture and bringing us together.

Today, Montgomery County's new minimum wage takes effect! Large employers (51+ employees) will see a rise to $17.15/hr, and mid-sized employers (11-50 employees) to $15.50/hr, reflecting our commitment to fair pay.

On July 1, the Montgomery County minimum wage rate will increase to keep pace with local inflation as required by County law. $17.15/hr for large employers and $15.50/hr for mid-sized businesses. A fair wage means a better quality of life for our workers.

Two years after the Supreme Court overturned a women's right to choose, MoCo is still standing strong & defending women's rights. In November, Marylanders have the power to voice their support for the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment. We can support the freedom to choose.
