On Monday, we hosted our first Membership Meeting of 2022 with keynote speaker Kevin Brown. Kevin's story inspired our members to unleash their inner hero!

We also welcomed our 2022 Board of Directors & Industry Fund Trustees and celebrated some of the people who have gone above and beyond as leaders in the industry.

Before we say "fare well" to 2021, we wanted to take a second to thank our amazing membership for their support in the 2021 iThrive Worldwide Care Bag Drive.

Through the kindness and support of our contractor members, the association was able to supply 85 filled care bags and donate $1,500 to the organization to support local youth in need.

Back in November, we celebrated National Apprenticeship Week by joining Plumbers Local 5 at their training facility for an Open House.

During the event, both Local 5 and the MCAMW were awarded Governor’s Proclamations in recognition of their efforts to connect students to career opportunities in apprenticeships.

Today we are looking back at our Industry Day & Trade Show that we hosted in October at Steamfitters Local 602. The event welcomed the next generation, allowed our members to reconnect with industry partners, and showcased the excellence of our member companies. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

As we wrap up 2021, we are taking some time to look back on our fall and winter events!

In September, we were joined by our membership and industry partners for the Annual Student Chapter Golf Tournament. The proceeds from the tournament help fund scholarships, chapter materials, and travel expenses for students to attend MCAA Conventions.

It's that time again... TIME TO GIVE BACK!

The MCAMW and our members are proud to support IThrive Worldwide. Since 2019, we have participated in the Annual Care Bag Drive.

iThrive strives to erase the opportunity gap by providing essential tools and resources to foster and homeless youth and young adults in the DC area. The care bag drive supplies needed personal care items to those in need in our local community.

Yesterday was the first day of the MCAA GreatFutures Forum. We are so happy to be able to bring our and .tech chapters out to this amazing conference!

Yesterday we were able to enjoy food, beverages, and good times with our MCAMW members at our 2021 Summer Outing! The beautiful scenery at Windridge Vineyards made the scorching hot weather a little more bearable.

We are looking forward to more good times with our membership!

The MCAMW is proud to support Habitat for Humanity! This past summer, the MCAMW team was able to join and Boland to participate in assembling the fence on this house.

Having the tools and skills to give back to the community are one of the greatest parts of this industry. Looking forward to more volunteer opportunities!
