Physical Therapy Technician Position

Full job description
Opportunities:

1. Full-time with the possibility of some Saturday hours.

2. Part-time schedule with the possibility of some Saturday hours.

This position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the field of orthopedic and sports rehabilitation before pursuing a career in Physical Therapy.

Candidates must be reliable, team players who take initiative. Multi-tasking skills and an undergraduate degree are required. Customer service and communication skills must be top-notch as patient interaction/satisfaction is the priority. The ideal candidate should have some experience, such as working or volunteering in a PT practice, a degree in exercise science, or knowledge of basic anatomy.

Education: Bachelor's (Required)

Duties including:
Greeting patients
Assisting patients with exercises under the supervision of the physical therapist
Cleaning equipment
Restocking clinic supplies
Maintaining a safe working environment
Answering the phones
Scheduling patient appointments

Building Amenities:
Gym (free to employees)
Deli
Conference room
Ample parking (free)

Opened in 2015 and located in Rockville, MD, Rebound Physical Therapy offers a comfortable, supportive atmosphere for our patients and employees. Rebound is a Physical Therapist-owned clinic specializing in sports injuries and outpatient orthopedic care. We are an energetic, cohesive group with a team approach to treatment. Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

POLICY CHANGES COMING THIS APRIL

Mask Optional Policy Effective April 1, 2023

All patients and staff may continue to wear a mask if they choose to do so. If preferred, patients may ask their direct care providers to wear a mask during their one-on-one treatment time.

As a precautionary measure, anyone experiencing respiratory symptoms from suspected seasonal allergies will be asked to mask (Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, runny nose, and congestion).

ALL patients and staff with contagious respiratory illnesses should continue to stay home until the illness has resolved.

If you have a concern regarding these policy changes, please speak with our front office or your provider. We will do our best to accommodate any practical requests for additional measures.

Our office is closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will reopen Monday, Nov 28th at 7:00 am.
