SLN BOARD RETREAT 2024
A blessed time spent together in Jackson Hole, WY as we prayed, dreamed, strategized, laughed, and adventured together.
SLN is incredibly blessed to be supported by this group of leaders; they love Jesus, desperately want His kingdom to grow in North America and are willing to give their time, talents, and resources to make it happen.
Missing a couple of our favorites: and
DAY TWO: SLN BOARD RETREAT. Aaron Graham led our devotional time today and reminded us of the lies we believe. One is: I CAN DO JUSTICE IN MY SPARE TIME WITH MY SOARE CHANGE.
That is a lie! Biblical justice is costly.

DAY ONE: SLN BOARD RETREAT. David Pothier led our devotional this morning and it was powerful. He challenged us to consider: Do we deeply believe Jesus
will take care of us? If so, what “last bite” are we holding onto that we need to give over?

Planters Helping Planters 🤝 Last weekend, Jay Stovall brought a powerful message and this time, it wasn’t for his own church but to serve the people of Devo Church and fellow planter, Nate Gay.
Here’s what Nate had to say about it:
“Jay stepped in for me as I was coming off vacation and gave me my first week off from preaching since the launch of the church. It was a breath of fresh air for me but not only did it bless me, but it blessed our congregation. He jumped into the middle of our current series and preached on the power of being a community committed to the mess of life together and reaching messy people far from God.
It was a timely challenge for our people but also a refreshing encouragement that their pastor lives in community with other pastors on the same mission. That’s the relational power of SLN!”

On our latest Leadership Accelerator, the question, "How do you determine how much to share with your staff as you make decisions," was asked. Aaron Brockett shared that teams want more transparency from their leaders and that it's important to demystify the decisions being made by leadership. He shared that he has found success in involving them in the conversation and asking for their thoughts. Not every opinion will mean the decisions change, but there needs to be a safe place to share thoughts.
Join our next Leadership Accelerator with Steve Stroope on Thurs, 4/24 at 11 am CST by clicking on the link in our profile.
