🎃👻 We had an absolute ball at the 4th Annual Trunk or Treat! Thank you to everyone who came out and made it a night to remember. A big shoutout to the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Rocky Mount for collaborating with us to bring this fun to life! Special thanks to DJ Uncle Mike for the fantastic music that kept the crowd dancing and to the Nash County Sheriff's Office for ensuring a safe night for all.

The costumes, treats, and smiles lit up the LABB Clubhouse. Can’t wait to do it all again next year!

We had the pleasure of bringing in Nia, a BGCTRR Alumni, and Rashad, a BGCTRR Alumni and proud Cummins employee. Their stories are incredible full-circle moments that show how important it is to support and nurture future leaders in our community.

🌟 Yesterday, we had the privilege of partnering with Barnhill Contracting Company to hand out lunches to our incredible local first responders!

In honor of National First Responders Day on October 28, we celebrate the brave men and women who spring into action during emergencies and disasters.

We are deeply thankful for your unwavering commitment to keeping our community safe. Thank you, first responders, for your dedication, and for letting us play a small role in brightening your day!

🌟 We had an absolute blast hosting our Lights On After School Celebration! Our Clubhouse was buzzing with energy, and the event was so bright, we all needed shades!

Huge shoutout to our amazing partners: Durbie Howell with OIC of Rocky Mount, ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital Down East Partnership for Children and Duke Teen Health Club. You all helped make this event a smashing success!

Special thanks to Kathy Akers of Kathy Akers Homes for joining us and engaging with our youth and to all the awesome parents who supported us.

We’re also grateful to Rocky Mount Police Officer Gailliard and Sergeant Alzer for connecting with the community. We also thank Councilman TJ Walker for proclaiming October 24th as Lights On Afterschool Day in Rocky Mount!

🎉 What an unforgettable night at our 30th Annual Steak & Burger Fundraiser! Thanks to our incredible Club members, guests, and sponsors, the evening was a huge success.

A special shoutout to Chick-fil-A and Carolina Eagle for making our VIP Reception an absolute hit!

The night was full of highlights: Our Club members led us in the Boys & Girls Club Code by Christopher, Invocation by Maryam and Pledge of Allegiance by Aubren and we were wowed by Addyson’s beautiful piano performance.

While our guests enjoyed tasty burgers, our Club members were honored with a special steak dinner—courtesy of Rocky Top Catering and Rose Hill Conference Center, with desserts by Poppies International. Huge thanks to US Foods, Boddie-Noell Enterprises, and Barley and Burger for supporting this delicious meal.

The stage looked stunning, thanks to Davis Furniture! We heard Nia Euwell’s inspiring story as a Club member and had an engaging fireside chat with former NFL star Josh Norman, who shared his journey of giving back and achieving success.

Congratulations to our Champion for Youth award winner, Theresa Shaw! Her son Terrance and daughter-in-law Shavonda accepted the award on her behalf.
