We touched on mindfulness, intentional self check-ins, our equine-assisted activity focused on boundaries, horse hugs, and a meaningful time sharing our takeaways together. ❤️ Thank you to all the moms that have participated in this series! I don't know, yall... there's just something about it. 💛 This past week's mom group was pretty special. We again spent some time on mindfulness exercises (one being our handprints for 5 finger breathing), taking time to check in with ourselves, another blindfolded equine-assisted activity focused on "finding your tribe", discussing anatomy of trust, a time of processing & reflection, and ending with those therapeutic horse hugs at sunset. Our first EXHALE: Mom Mondays event was last night and it was incredible! ❤️ While most might be disappointed in the turnout, my heart was instead overjoyed to get to focus on and connect with the one momma that showed up. We learned mindfulness exercises and ways to combat fight/flight responses, how horses are masters at being present, how horse time checks all the boxes for our 4 feel-good hormones (neurotransmitters), a blind-folded equine assisted activity based on finding our joy, time of reflection, and of course... ending with those therapeutic horse hugs. Hear me, mommas. Whether its only ONE of you that shows up or a small army... you matter.
