I am truly sorry to do this at last minute, but have to cancel game night for this evening. I truly apologize for this. Have a wonderful and blessed day.

With the Holiday seasons quickly approaching I wanted to share a few things that are going on around our community.

On November 21st, The Salvation Army will be sponsoring a Community Wide Thanksgiving Dinner. Volunteers are very much needed to make this event happen. If you would like to help and volunteer your time and serve others, please let me know and I will get you added to the list. Daniel Rodriguez, Perry Webb and myself will be helping at this event.

Also, starting this Christmas Cedar Springs Baptist Church will be helping with the Angel Tree Foundation. The Angel Tree Foundation is an organization that provides Christmas gifts to a child in need ranging from birth to 12 years old. The Angels 😇 will be hung on the Christmas trees at the church for anyone that would like to provide for a child in need. It will have their age, clothes size and a wished toy they would like. It is completely up to you, on what you purchase for them. I wish and my goal is to provide for 10 kids this Holiday season. If you would like to sponsor a child, please let me know so I can let the Angel Tree Foundation know how many Angels to send to our Church.

Also, The Salvation Army is like Santa’s workshop during Christmas. If you would like to help put gifts together or help distribute them, they could surely and truly use your help.

I wanted to let everyone know that game night this coming Saturday would be canceled.

Our kids are out for summer break and we have seven weeks during the summer to spend with them and this weekend, we have the opportunity to be with most of our children. 

We truly hope you understand.

Due to Latham Springs's 100th Anniversary, game night will be canceled for this Saturday.

Movie night will be on May 20th. We will be watching the new movie Jesus Revolution starting around 7:45 pm.

It is with our greatest pleasure to announce that Pat Knowlton, the Mission Director of FIRM Baptist will be giving our sermon on Sunday morning at 11 am. Sunday is about the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Grab your family and friends and come enjoy the message Pat will share with all of us.

April 9th - Sunrise Service 7 am with Pastor Donnie Fulton at Powers Chapel. After Sunrise Service we will come back to the church for more worship and Fellowship Easter Luncheon.

April 15th - Movie Night starting at dusk. We will be watching the movie Heaven Is For Real. Bring your chairs and blanks to be comfortable under the tabernacle. 

April 30th - 5th Sunday Singing 4 pm. A Spaghetti dinner will be provided by the Church. Desserts are always welcome.

On Easter Sunday, April 9th there will be a Sunrise Service starting at 7 am at Powers Chapel. Donnie Fulton will be officiating the service that morning so you know it will be very special. A flyer will be made this evening for the community to share with others.
