Camp Kangaroo is Woo Hoo
Life’s going good - We like to cook and eat out - Go to the store and get some snacks - Watch movies on the couch - Play games in the bouncy house
But like seasons change - My story changed - And now I wear a mask - A mask that has some cracks
And through these cracks - My emotions pass - I try to ball them up - But they still come back up - I feel heartbroken and guilty too - I feel sad and mad - I wanna cry and scream - The pressure is overwhelming
Takes me awhile to feel better - I need space to grieve and space to breathe - Go to therapy - Take naps for more energy - Listen to music - Talk to friends - Like cloudy water becomes clear - Like a collage you are a part of me
I carry you with me always…always…always
