The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging along with Educational Access and Disability Resources, seek nominations for individuals or teams from our DCTC community who have significantly contributed to equity, inclusion, diversity, belonging, and/or disability inclusion and accessibility during the 2023-2024 academic year (flier attached).
Nominators can suggest as many candidates as they wish, from any category (faculty, staff, student, administrator, or team). Nominations must be submitted by April 26th, and a reception for all nominees will take place on May 7th from 12-1pm—all are invited to submit a nomination and attend the reception. Nominees will receive summary copies along with the names of their nominators.
Discussions on "diversity and inclusion" are widespread in today's higher education scene! Join “Racial Equity in Action: Building Campuses of Belonging,” a spring convening co-hosted by MnEEP and Minnesota State, on April 29th from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm. This gathering provides a vital chance for leaders, faculty, staff, students, and advocates in higher education to form impactful partnerships across sectors, establish meaningful relationships, and acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and determination to drive progress in racial equity, belonging, and academic achievement for students who are people of color and Indigenous (POCI).
